Swedish study finds reduced logging brings limited climate benefit at high cost A national forestry impact analysis finds that cutting Swedish harvest levels by 15-25 percent could eliminate 25,000-35,000 jobs and reduce sector value added by up to a third while delivering limited or even negative climate outcomes once carbon leakage and material substitution are accounted for.
