The company aims to cut combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions 67.2% from 2019 levels and Scope 3 emissions 41.3% across four categories, including purchased goods and end-of-life treatment. On Oct. 9 a unanimous Ninth Circuit panel reversed a summary judgment that Alliance for the Wild Rockies had won against the Hanna Flats Good Neighbor Authority logging project in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. The lower court had found the project broke road limits near a Selkirk grizzly recovery zone. The panel sent the case back to the magistrate judge in Boise to decide whether the project actually caused the excess road miles (Courthouse News)
