NL Hydro extends power purchase deal with Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro renewed its interim power purchase agreement with Kruger's Corner Brook mill for one year, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, allowing purchase of up to 280,000 MWh of mill-generated electricity at C$187/MWh; the province says the extension buys time to assess Kruger's diversification proposal for the mill without raising customer rates.
