Kruger to detail $700-million revitalization plan for Corner Brook Pulp and Paper. Kruger has called a news conference to lay out details of the roughly $700-million modernization initiative proposed last year for its Corner Brook, Newfoundland mill, which employs about 300 people; the plan spans paper mill upgrades, a new pulp storage facility, site infrastructure improvements and chip handling equipment. NL Hydro recently extended its power purchase agreement with the mill through June 2027, giving the province time to evaluate the proposal. Source: VOCM

Rebox names Kyle Otting chief executive officer. Rebox, North America's largest distributor of pre-owned corrugated boxes with more than 35 distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada, appointed Kyle Otting as CEO effective July 8, succeeding co-founder Mark Young, who moves to the board.
